This is a beautiful area and people visit the area to enjoy the fascinating views. I'm against this proposal because these wind turbines will destroy the scenic beauty of the surrounding area. The wind turbines may also kill birds and harm wildlife. Turbines can be as high as 145 metres! My family has farmed this area for three generations. I'm against the proposal as the noise from the wind turbines will cause discomfort to my sheep especially during lambing season. They should only build offshore wind farms in the sea. They will be out of sight. This is an ideal site for wind turbines to make electricity. It is on top of a hill and it is a very windy place. Pennant Melangell's church is very popular with tourists and pilgrimages. This will ruin the countryside and its peaceful area. Wales must have low carbon energy by 2050 and the government's plan is to have wind turbines on 2% of Wales' land. During the construction period it will benefit the local economy. (Wind turbines – 2.3 billion – Welsh economy) A lot of wind turbines are required in order to generate a lot of energy. The wind turbines only work when it's very windy.
