Remember that verb endings and pronouns should always correspond, e.g.
clywed + fi > clywais i
darllen + hi > darllenodd hi
Similarly, prepositions and pronouns should also correspond, e.g.
am + ti > amdanat ti
am + hi> amdani hi
In Welsh, many pronouns come in two parts, e.g.
ein … ni.
The two parts of the pronoun must always match, e.g.
fy mhenderfyniad i
ei graddau hi
ein teulu ni
Compound Prepositions - Arddodiaid Cyfansawdd
Compound prepositions consist of more than one element, e.g.
er mwyn (for the sake of)
yn lle (instead of)
Use both parts of the pronoun with these, as follows:
er eich mwyn chi (for your sake)
yn dy le di (instead of you)
ar fy mhen fy hun (by myself)
Remember to use the correct mutations after these pronouns, as seen above.
