Money Matters

A series of interactive activities to support the Money Matters novel series that includes four novels for Key Stage 2. The interactive online activities support financial education in accordance with specific requirements to support financial education in accordance with specific requirements of the Literacy and Numeracy Framework (LNF).

Ditectif Geiriau

A series of interactive activities to support the reading and comprehension book series, Ditectif Geiriau for Key Stage 2. There are 4 graded books within the series, all of which include a range of activities and a wide variety of factual and imaginative stimuli.

Yr Atom

In February 2015, the University of Wales Trinity St David received funding from the Welsh Government's Capital Investment Fund: Welsh Language Centres and Learning Spaces, to establish a Welsh community centre. This centre will operate as a catalyst for promoting the use of Welsh in Carmarthen town and the surrounding area.

Money Wise Online is a series of interactive personal finance lessons designed for Key Stage 2.

Ysgol Y Dderwen Website

Ysgol y Dderwen's website was planned and created by Canolfan Peniarth. Ysgol y Dderwen is a Welsh medium primary school that is firmly rooted in the old town of Carmarthen. It provides high quality Welsh-medium education to over 350 pupils with English introduced in Year 3.

The South West Wales Centre of Teacher Education

Canolfan Peniarth has created a new website for South West Wales Centre of Teacher Education, which has a proud tradition of providing high quality teacher education and training here in South West Wales . The Center is proud to build on its historical strengths of working closely with schools and other partners in developing excellent learning and teaching.

National Sabbatical Scheme Activities

A number of interactive activities have been designed to strengthen the Welsh skills of teachers and classroom assistants following their period on the National Welsh Sabbatical scheme. These activities are, however, suitable for anyone who wants to try them. There are a number of various linguistic activities that give people the opportunity to practice their Welsh and extend their knowledge of it.

Mêts Maesllan

The Mêts Maesllan series includes 32 colourful Welsh reading books which are a combination of stories and non-fiction. They follow the life and interests of a lively bunch of friends. The books are graded at four different levels with the aim of developing the literacy skills of children aged 7-11. A range of interactive games and worksheets match every book. A handbook for teachers is also available.

Religious Education Wales

Canolfan Peniarth has developed a unique news website for the Religious Education subject area in Wales. The website, which is hosted by Canolfan Peniarth, is a joint venture between University of Wales Trinity Saint David and Bangor University and has evolved from the popular RE News print magazine. The website initiative and excellent resource enables the Religious Education community across Wales .
